  • to work jointly for developping sustainable Viticultures, at the level of regions taking into account their environmental and socio-economical specificities.
GiESCO International Meetings

During GiESCO International Meetings, researchers, agronomists, viticulturists, growers, and students share the state of art on topics related to the grape and all its final products (wine, juice, table grapes and raisins among others).

These meetings started fist in France and then they were organized by researchers from other european countries and finally they went to other continents. Currently it is one of the most important scientific and techonogical meeting related to viticulture. Below you will find the list of previous GiESCO Meetings.

GiESCO Meetings are organized every two years and about 300 people assist to them. Scientific and technological subjects are presented during the meeting as talks or posters, and there are also field visits to local research and comercial vineyards and wineries.

One day of the meeting, the Profesional Day, is usually targeted to the local audience of professionals and growers.
